Orbiting ideas, never landing
On generative sketches, unfinished loops, and why some experiments should remain in motion.
Keep the loop alive
There is a particular kind of sketch that becomes more interesting when it refuses to resolve. A particle drifts past its origin. A line almost closes. The composition keeps a small amount of kinetic uncertainty.
I like these systems because they make room for the viewer. They do not ask for a single reading; they offer a field of possible readings. The code can stay modest. A few seeded positions, a slow rotation, and a good sense of scale can carry a lot of atmosphere.
The unfinished is a feature
The important part is the return. When an experiment comes back around, it should feel familiar but not identical. That difference is where the life is.
